ENABLE (Stornoway District Branch)

ENABLE is a charity with the aim of working for an equal society for every person who has a learning disability. We do this by:

• Providing advice and support to empower anyone with a learning disability.
• Actively campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding within our community.
• Being a support group for the whole family unit e.g. the person with a learning disability, their family and carers.
• Organising bus trips, parties, short breaks and our favourite trip is bowling with food.

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 8pm at the Ardseileach Training Centre located at Macdonald Road, Stornoway. We encourage anyone with an interest to attend our meetings.
